Farm Employment
At Waldoch Farm and Joyer Adventure Farm, we have various employment opportunities throughout the year. We are looking for passionate, honest and caring individuals that have a high standard for quality, will take initiative, be able to follow directions, and assist our customers. With customer service being a top priority for all positions.
We offer flexible schedules to high school and college students, parents who want to work while their children are at school, and retirees or other adults who want to supplement their income.
Waldoch Farm is a retailer farm, which makes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday our busiest days, with the most hours available. We work around our staff’s availability, however, the more available you are the more likely it that we will consider you for employment.

We accept applications throughout the year. You are more than welcome to drop off an application at any time. Do not hesitate to apply during any time of year in case we need some reinforcements to finish the season strong. However, these positions may have already been filled for the season. See when interviews are typically held for each position for the best time to apply.

We need the most help starting in early June, weeding the fields. Depending on the season, we hire a few people for work in May when a lot of schools are done for the summer.
In the summer months; the hours are typically 7am to 1pm or 3pm. During August we need a few more people to help Harvest the crops.

Many roles that need to be filled to help guests have a fun and safe time at Joyer Adventure Farm.
Most of the positions with Fall Fun are on the weekends. We also need extra help on “MEA” on the farm. Check the Joyer Adventure Farm hours of operations for typical work hours.

Open Positions with a plant focus
Do you have a passion for plants? Would you like a seasonal full-time position at Waldoch Farm? Fill out an application and let us know where you think you could fit into the Waldoch Farm Family. We take a couple of months off of production and retail in the winter for the holiday season. However, our business continues to grow in scope and size each year. Last year we built a growing range that increased our covered growing space by 35%. This blessing means we need to grow our team. We are looking for quality candidates for the following positions:
Paid Internship
Our business continues to grow in scope and size and we are ready for the symbiotic relationship having interns at Waldoch Farm would provide. The tasks at Waldoch Farm could vary from pest control, planting, and maintenance of our annuals and perennials, and would include assisting with the vegetable harvest. The roles at Waldoch Farm include managing plants from seed to table and assisting in maintaining a customer friendly experience.

Open Positions with a plant and people focus
We are looking for quality candidates for the following positions:
Perennials Sales and Plant Maintenance
Help customers with perennial and design questions. Keep the perennial areas fully stocked. As wells as keep the plants looking good with plant maintenance. The time commitment in this role can be as little as two days a week. If you are interested in working more than that do not hesitate to apply.
Retail Merchandising
Kathy, our current Retail Merchandising lead team member, would like to shift her focus to flowers. This role would become the buyer of hardgoods, every non-plant item for sale. They would also set up the displays and monitor inventory. Working as a Cashier and Customer service will make this role a seasonal full-time position. We are ready for you to take the lead with it and run.
