Joyer Adventure Farm: Honeybee Experience
A featured activity at Joyer Adventure Farm!
Running July 11th thru 14th and July 18th thru 21st, Thursday - Sunday.
The Honeybee Experience starts at 10:30 am and is 1.5 hours long. We will be running each part to the experience throughout the day will a break for lunch.
- The Experience starts with a talk about pollination and the importance of native and honeybee.
- The first group will watch the beekeeper inspect a beehive from the safety of watching from behind a window screen. Following groups will be able to see the different frames found during the inspection.
- The Experience ends with a tasting of our three different honey flavors: Dandy Spring, Clover Field, and Sweet Harvest. The Tasting station will be set up at 11:30 and will be open until 4pm.
